On the very warm sunny morning of May 9th, 2015, DVTK co-chairs Warren Beacham and Ann Gillespie led an enthusiastic group of about 20 individuals on a guided walk based on our 2014 publication: "A Walking Tour of Heritage Trees in downtown Dundas". Warren identified and described distinguishing features of the individual tree specimens while Ann provided some additional commentary on buildings of architectural and historical interest, noting that a number of the stops were within an area protected as a heritage conservation district under Part V of the Ontario Heritage Act, known as the Cross-Melville HCD.
The first 7 photos were taken along the route by DVTK member Anne Parker or Ann Gillespie. More photos subsequently taken of trees in blossom and bulbs in bloom will be added to the photo gallery.
